Elbeco Tek Twill police uniforms

Elbeco has been making police uniforms since 1907. They make some of the most popular police uniforms worn today by police officers. I had the opportunity about two years to be introduced to Elbeco police uniforms when my department was looking into adding Elbeco to our department policy as an authorized uniform. A select few of us were given some Elbeco police uniforms to test and review. After the trial, the department ended up adding Elbeco to the authorized list of police uniforms.

I have never been a fan of class A or class B uniforms. Luckily for me, my department allows us to wear BDU tactical uniforms on a daily basis. I love the comfort of them and the added cargo pockets.

I was given two pairs of the Elbeco Tek Twill utility uniforms to try out. One set of them would be taken to the dry cleaner, and the other set would be washed at home. The Tek Twill uniforms are a polyester/cotton combination and are suppose to maintain their color even when machine washed.

I have worn the two Tek Twill police uniforms for about two years now and they both look like they are brand new. For about the first year, I kept up with the program of taking one pair to the dry cleaners and one pair washed at home. After a year or so, I did not notice a difference in the color, so I now only wash them at home. The Tek Twill uniforms are also very comfortable and have not shown any wear and tear around the waist from my police equipment duty belt.

There is nothing that I dislike about the Elbeco Tek Twill police uniforms.

The Tek Twill uniforms are the same price as the other BDU tactical uniforms made by the other manufactures.

I highly recommend the Elbeco Tek Twill police uniform to anybody that is looking for a high quality, comfortable, professional looking police uniform.
