In this article, I will be doing an ankle holster review on my current ankle holster. DeSantis has been making ankle holsters since the 1970's. They are the leading choice of holsters for the FBI, Secret Service, Homeland Security, and many police officers.

This DeSantis ankle holster features a tough synthetic lined holster with a thumb break. The holster is attached to a neoprene leg band that is padded with foam and lined with sheepskin.

I have been wearing this DeSantis ankle holster for about 3 years. I love it. Unlike my previous ankle holsters, this keeps my Glock 27 secured. I have been in numerous foot pursuits and have never had a problem. The padding makes it very comfortable and at times I don't even realize that I have it on my ankle. The only issue that I have had with it is that the neoprene leg band is starting to show some wear and tear. I guess that can be expected since I take it on and off regularly. I am going to contact DeSantis and see if they are willing to fix it or replace it. After I do, I will update this review. Even with this issue, I would still highly recommend the DeSantis Die Hard ankle holster.  I hope you have enjoyed this ankle holster review.
